What are the different types of solar panels and how do they work efficiently

Image
There are several types of solar panels, each with its own design and technology. The primary types of solar panels are monocrystalline, polycrystalline, thin-film, and bifacial panels. Here's an overview of these types and how they work efficiently: 1. **Monocrystalline Solar Panels**:     - **Efficiency**:                       Monocrystalline panels are known for their high efficiency and performance. They typically have efficiency rates ranging from 15% to 22%.    - **How They Work**:                              Monocrystalline panels are made from single-crystal silicon. They are highly efficient because their single-crystal structure allows electrons to move more freely, resulting in better energy conversion. 2. **Polycrystalline Solar Panels**:    - **Efficiency...

Nanotechnology

What is nanotechnology? This subject deals with ultrafine particles of size in nanometers. One nanometer (nm) is equal to one billionth of a meter. In simple words, one nm is one hundredth of a croreth of a meter. In general, any particle shows its own properties in its normal size range. but when we cut down its size to nanometers, it exhibits different properties based on their molecular arrangements. Based on their properties, we classify them as useful or not to humans. Useful means in terms of manufacturing useful products, for example, creating plastic that conducts electricity, non-rusting iron glass solar panels, etc. Applications of nanotechnology: Cheaper in cost: In terms of cost, nanoproduct manufacturing is cheaper compared to traditional-sized products. As they are, they don't need square feet of area, a large human source for weight carrying, or bulk transport vehicles to transport. All these factors reflect the cost of production and services. Nanotubes are bein...

New coloured Orange Vande Bharat Express launched by Indian Railways

Image
Orange Vande Bharat Express has finally hit the tracks and as expected mesmerizing it's looks   Indian Railways has unveiled the new orange and gray color themed Vande Bharat Express. As is the case with all Vande Bharat trains, this too has been manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. According to the ICF General manager BG Mallya, a new color scheme has been experimented with inspired from saffron color in the national flag. This is the 31st Vande Bharat Express 2.0 rake that has been rolled out by ICF, and the 33rd overall including the two Vande Bharat trains that were launched in 2019. Vande Bharat: List of improvements in recent train sets 1. Optimization of hardness of cushion 2. Increase in seat reclining angle 3. Increase in wash basin depth to avoid splashing of water in lavatories 4. Improved accessibility of mobile charging point under the seats 5. Colour of seat in Executive Chair Car changed from red to "pleasant blue" 6. Extended foot rest fo...
